BYRD'S PLANS FOR SOUTH POLE EXPEDITION.

Paris, July 10. Commander Byrd has now publicly revealed his plans for the forthcoming fight to the south pole. The expedition will consist of thirty or forty men who will leave New Zealand by water and will then employ two aeroplanes which will convey a team of fifty dogs and a number of Esquimaux to establish bases.

Commander Byrd adds that the south pole will be the beginning of the expedition. It is hoped to penetrate further into the un- known regions.-Router.
