It is stated that the tig vor age of the Admiralty tug Alliance, despatched from Chatham for service in local waters, was un- eventful. Generally fair weather was experienced on the voyage, with occasional storms in tropical latitudes, which were ridden out in safety.

The itinerary of the Alliance from Chatham was Devonport, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Malta, Port Said, Port Sudan, Aden, Muscat, Bombay, Colombo, Sabang, Singa perc, Saigon. Hongkong.

Mr. Im Kowloon Pak Hal purchased Marino Lot No. 48.on which stands a factory and other buildings at $56,500. There was only one bid above the upset price which was $66,000. A
