FLORIDA BANK RUN.-Two million dollars in currency rushed to the Farmers' Bank and Trust Company and the Citizens' Bank at Palm Beach, Florida, stopped runs to tha paying tollers' windows started by the closing of three sister institutions. In this unusual picture, depositors of the Farmors' Bank, waiting to withdraw their funds, gather interestingly about an armoured car which has arrived with the omergency cash.
TORNADO DAMAGE IN AMERICA-Sixty-one people were killed and 150 injured when a tornado practically wiped out the littlo town of Rock Springs, Texas. As this picturo shows, wrockage was strewn all over the landscape. Before the storm an auto- mobile agancy stood on this spot. The building was demolished and several motor cars were wrockod as completely as if they had been hit by a train. The trees also give muta evidence of the wind's fury.

American, French and Canadian plenes and merchant and naval craft have been combing the North Atlantic for them, and news cables published to-day report that they have boon found in Canada.
