FRENCH HEROINES HONOURED-Four Frenchwomen who played gallant parts in hiding British soldiers from the Germans were presented by the Lord Mayor of London with annuities subsoribed for by the public. ARKANSAS FLOOD.—Boots have come into use on the streets of Little Rook, Arkansas, whore 150 houses are afloat in the eastern section of the city. Flood waters have driven 300 people from their homes and 75 blocks are inundated.
