MEMORABLE YEAR IN SCHOOL'S HISTORY.

The fifty-eighth annual report of the Diocesan Boys' School and Orphanage, Just Issued, records a very satisfactory year's work. The report states, in part:

The year 1926 will always be one of the memorable years in the school's history. In March, after eight years hard and patient work, the school moved from its old' home on the island of Hong kong to its new premises on the Kowloon, peninsula At the end of the year, in February, 1927, just as we were beginning to ap- prociate our now buildings and grounds, came the sad news that we had to let our school to the milltary authorities for the pur- poses of a General Hospital in con- nexion with the Shanghai Defence Force, and the school opened the new year in temporary premises in Nathan Road.
