A Great Struggle.
No fewer than five of the seven games in the third and final set went to deuce. Honda was more aggressive than is his wont, but he lost the first-is service- game after several keen mailies. Returning the compliment, flonda made it 1-1, but Rumjahn went on to win Ave games in succession in the face of Honda at his best, to win set and match. Rumjaka was kept for the greater part on the defensive, though he took up the attack aggressively when given the opportunity.
