MAN WITH AN UNLIMITED SUPPLY.
A ruse employed by a Chinese) reporter led to the capture by the Police of a man who is alleged to have an unlimited supply of forged Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation's bank notes. The man charged before Mr. R. E. Lindsell yesterday afternoon with possession of one forged $500 nofe.

Mr. Lindsell: Why should he think you were a scoundrel?—I

- The case was adjourned until Thursday next at 2.15.
Witners added that he promised to induce some friends, whereupon the defendant gave him an ad- dress in Upper Lascar Row where he could be found.
