PROBLEM IN SUMMARY

An Identity problem nrose in the Summary Court yesterday after noon when Chan Young sued the Yuet Shing Loong firm and Le Pai Ohuon, n partner, for $1,000 in respect of a loan. Mr. H. C. Macnamara appeared for the plaintiff and Mr. P. H. Loseby for the defendant.

The question-aroso as to whether the service of the writ was good or not, it 'being stated that it had been served on a man who admitted that he was Lo Pai Chuen, Mr. Loseby, however, said that his client was not Lo Pai Chuen but had been served with the writ.

The annual meeting of the Navy League will be held this evening in the Board room of Messrs. Jardine, Matheson & Co., Ltd. when the following report will be submitted:-

Proof of the loan was given by plaintiff and His Lordship gave judgment in his favour for the amount claimed.
