[By "Wanderer."] The Club de Recreio, the league champlons, met with their second defent on Saturday, the Royal Artillery, scoring twice without reply.

Chinese Athletic jumped to second place in the table by ren son of a victory over the Hongkong F. C., who are now out of the run- nlug.

In the Second Division,the Roy 1 Artillery Rezerves dropped valuable point, but the other candidates for the runners-up position, Kowloon Reserves and Chinese Athletic "A", were both successful.

THE TAIKOO CHALLENGE

CUP.

The fourteenth competition for the Taikoo Volunteer Challenge Cup, between the staffs of Messrs. Butterfield and Swire, Talkoa Sugar Refinery, Taikoo Dockyard, and the China Navigation Co., the Taikoo Ltd.. took place_on Range, Quarry Bay, on Sunday morning. The following practices were carried out:

1-200 yards, deliberate, ft.

Musketry target. 2.-200 yards, anap-shooting. 22 inch, Snap-shooting tar

get.

3300 yards, snap-shooting.

4. Musketry target. 4-300 yards, rapid, 4 ft.

Musketry farget. 5-500 yards, deliberate, 6 ft.

Musketry target. The total possible number of points was 110.

There wern 13 competitors, and after a keen contest, Mr.. W. E. Price won with a net score of 81 which with a handicap of four, gave him an aggregate of 85.

The second prize (kindly: pre-Nutts Forest sented by Mr. G. M. Young) was won by Mr. A. MacIndou, with a gross score of 79. Mr. K. Boulton

and third, his score being 79 (Handicap 12).
