AND

PLAYER PIANOS.

It has been found neccesary to al

ter the date for the Club versun Ladies' event to Sunday, 27th March, when-the-contest-will-bo- between teams of 4 boats.

All members are hoping for goed "El-nail" breeze, for the Service Members Cup. Last Saturday res gulted in no race due to lack of a breeze, and the previous Sunday pro- vided so much wind as to cause the postponement of the event against the Indies, so all hope for the happy mean. The course will be given at the Club and the race will be sailed under scaled handicaps.

The Cruisers not off the 1st Championship event at the third time of asking on Sunday last over the course of Hongkong Island (8). The course was altered to Starboard to dt in better with the tides, and it was a well that this was done, for the wind on the South of the Island was particularly fight and variable
