CHINESE FINED FOR

STONE-THROWING.

An alterention arose during the last ten minutes of the Junior Shield match which was played on the Recreio ground at King's Park between the home team and the Ching Athletic "A" on Saturday afternoon, when a stone-throwing incident, which has become a rather' common occuronce at local football matches, occurred among the spectators.

A young Chinese was throwing stones from outside the fence and was handed over to the police by Mr. Gilbert, the referee who had just arrived on the scene to take charge of the second match between the Recreio and Kowloon la the Senior Shield.

The arrested man was charged before Mr. W. Schofield ut the Kowloon Magistracy this morning with disorderly conduct. dant pleaded not guilty.
