TREMENDOUS FOOTBALL CROWD.-Sixty thousand persons saw the epic Alabama-Stanford football garne-an east U. 8. west deadlock-in the Pasadena Ross Bowl at Pasadona, California, New Year's Day. Here is how the huge stadium looked, jammed with people cheering on the two splendid teams which were battling on the fold. The scoro waa 7-7, Alabama robbing Stanford of victory by a touchdown in the last

minute or two of play.
