CURRENT YEAR.

The prospectus for the year 1927 of the Central British School has just been published giving an outline for the current year's work, the rules of the school, and in- formulion regarding scholarships. which include the Government scholarship giving a year's taillon at the University, the Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Company's scholarships the J. B. M. Smith, the King Edward VII for British sub- Jects only, the Peace Memorial. the St. John's Cathedral scholarship in connexion with the Cathedral choir, and a number of other trizes.

The Central British School was Brt opened in 1902, the building being erected and presented to the Government by Sir Robert Ho Tung In February 1921, owing to the great increase in the number of children attending the school, the Junior-section-was-transformel to the Army School building at Gun An annexe Club Hill, Kowloon. consisting of five additional class roon's was opened early in 1924
