This is due not so much to the fact that the con- Bumption has slightly decreased, but to a much greater rainfall during this year... Thirteen inches more rain had fallon up to No- vember 30th than for the corres ponding period of last year.

The amount of water in storage on the island is 1,868.61 million gallons, as agnlust' 1,450.31 a year ago. Tytam Tuk claima no less than 1,301.76 of the total, whilst Tytum comes next with 315.08.

The consumption during Novem ber was 245.38 million gallons by an estimated population of 406,760, giving the consumption per hend per duy as 20.1 gallons. The figures for November last year vary slightly. The consumption then was 250.33 million gallons, the estimated population 396,440 and the daily individual consump- tion 21 gallons.
