Witness said that she had seen no curtains near the deceased nor was her friend tied up in any way.

In reply to Mr. McCallum, the Coroner said that the Court had visited the scene and inspected the place, The doccnsel appeared to. have deliberately jumpod from her window. There was a balcony 12 feet below her room and although the Court searched they were unable to find any marks of the body having knocked against the bacony which jutted out about three feet. She was lying about four feet from the base of the building.

A verdict of accidental death, with no blame attached to anyone, was returned.
