London, Oct. 23-The Maoris are proving themselves a pópular side and are playing in promising fashion. They played a pointless draw with Newport on Wednesday in which their failure to win appeared to be due to the heavy and greasy state of the ball.

To-day they played a much finer better conditions game under teams in the competition, going against Swansea and beat them by down by four goals to two.

There was not a single draw in the Hongkong Football League on Saturday, and surprises were very

few.

The Club de Recreio won their third successive match, the Tamar," supposed to be one of the strongest.

Kowloon returned to winning form, while the Club defeated the K.O.S.B. by the old goal in fivo..
