'RACE.

The first annual harbour race of the Garrision Recreation Club took place yesterday, when there were tea entrants, all of whom finished the course with the exception of one. The "East Surrey Regiment Cup" was the trophy, and this was won by General Luard's A. D. C., Lieutenant R. Q. F. Johnston, D. L. I. who covered the distance from the Water Police pier at Kowloon to the stops of the R. A. S. C. cam ber, Hongkong, in the good time of 80 mins. 1/5 secs.
