An extremely pretty wedding took place at St. John's Cathedral this morning," the contracting parties being Mr. Henry Ching, acting editor of the South China Morning Post (only son of the late Mr. Charles Ching and Mrs. Ching, of Mackay, Queensland, Australia) and Misa Rußyo Irene Maty Kong (youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kong, of Sydney and Hongkong). The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Harty Kong, looked particularly charming in a gown of ivory taffetta, made in the Victorian style, with silver lace panels and bodice and orange blossom trimming, as well as vell and wrenth of orange, blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white roses and Honolulu crespors and had as her bridesmaid Miss Mavis- Choy, who was attired in a pink satin dress with pink roses and sil ver ribbon and picture hat to match.

Mrs. O. Yung (sister of the bride) was the Matron of Honour, and she wore a dress of lemon crepe satin relieved with georgette, with, picture hut to match. Both she and the bridesmaid carried bouquets of white roses and Heno- lulu creeper.
