As chairman of the bazaar committee, there falls upon me the pleasant duty of representing Church to-day in welcoming your ladyship to our bazaar and fete. We consider it a great honour to have Lady Clementi with us this afternoon, and by her presence, It shows what a personal interest she takes in the welfare of our Church.
It is rather superfluous for me to mention that this bazaar is for the benefit of the fund for con- structing this building. In spite of the generous support from the Church members and friends, our expectation has not yet been realised.
