RADIO SOCIETY. APPEAL FOR MEMBERS.
The Hongkong Radio Society, which at present is the sole broad- casting agoney in the Colony, makes an earnest appeal to all"in- terested in radio to become mem- bers.
The Society's aim is to provide regular radio programmes, but its work is at present rather restrict ed by reason of lack of finances. | Owners of receiving sets will serve their own interests by joining the Society, because the bigger the membership list the greater will be the possibilities for expansion of the Society's work.

The death is announced of Miss Florence Balhatchet, of Penang. The late Miss Balhatchet was to have been married to Mr. J: Theseira, of the Chartered Bank," Kuala Lumpur, early in.
