Duofold Takes Longer to Fill
Because of its OVER -SIZE Ink Capacity WHEN filing the Duo-
fold, people accus- tomed to old-time fountain pens are apt to withdraw this over-size pen from the ink too soon. Don't do it, else this big, thirsty fellow will: drink in air instead of ink. See above,
Next, keep the cap on tight when your pen is not in use. For Duofold's Duo-Sleeve Cap has an Inner Sleeve that forms an ink-tight seal with the shoulder of the nozzle.
Give the Parker Duofold fair treatment and this pea will never fall you.

AFTER 22 YEARS.
WISEMAN'S CAFE PASSES OUT
With the opening to-day of Messrs. Lane, Crawford's new restaurant, the Cafe Wiseman, under its distinctive name, censes to exist. Thus there passes away a concern which for over 22 years has been associated with the Colony, although its place is being. taken by a new and larger restau rant in far more commodious premises than the old Cafe ever had.
It was in 1984
that Mr. H. Wiseman, a popular. German
resident of the Colony, started the Cafe in a small room in Beacone- field Arcade, and soon afterwards the concern was turned into limited liability company. In April, 1906, the Cafe removed to Queen's Rond Central, opposite. the old Post Office (now the site of the China Building), and here new tiffin rooms were opened.
Subsequently, a further move was made to Des Voeux Road, Central, on the site now occupied by the Exchange Building, where for some years, the Cafe was under the managership of Mr. Eskhardt Then came the war, and the Wiseman's Cafe, as it was known, was converted into a British.com pany and ro-named the Cafe Wiseman. Mr. D. M. Goodall, who has ever since remained in charge of the Cafe, came out to take charge in May, 1915, and it is gratifying to know that he will remain manager of Messrs. Lane, Crawford's new restaurant. Lane, Crawford's association with the Café dates back to March, 1922, when, following the volun- tary liquidation of the Cafe Wise- man, it assumed control of the Although the old Wiseman's Cafe 18 no more, the services of its staff will still be available in the new restaurant and we have no doubt that its traditions will be more than maintained.
