Inspector J. Ogg prosecuted an Indian motor truck driver, before Mr. J. H. B. Nihill at the Kowloon Magistracy yesterday afternoon on a charge of reckless driving at the junction of Humphreys Avenue and Nathan Road, on the 13th in-

Giving evidence, Inspector Ogg stated that he was travelling in a bus towards the Ferry and ou nearing the Dairy Farm his bus had almost overtaken two rick- shas which were proceeding in the yame direction. Without any warning of any sort the defendant drove out from the aide street, on the east of Nathan Road and caused "the two rickshas to separ ate, one dashing, forward while the other was forced to swerve in front of the bus to avoid being run into.

The bus on which witness was riding pulled up suddenly to pre vent a collision with the ricksha.

The defendant when asked if he desired to cross examine the wit- ness said that both "riekshas had given him, right of way, but In- spector Ogg anid that the rickshas gave way to save themselves.

His Worship imposed a fino of 38.
