Lendon, July 20. Middlesex got small change out of their visit to Bradford, Champions winning by ten wickets after gaining first innings advantage, of TG, and dismissing the visitors for 80 runs in their second innings.

After he had for three years ruled the half-million savages who, worshipped him, Mr. Boyes was arrested by a party of Government officials who had come, with arried troops, to take over the country. He was sent down to Nairobi for trial on various serious charges.

His Arrest

The "White King," with his per- sonal bodyguard and about 200 native witnesses, was escorted on the journey by ten native soldiers, commanded by a black sergeant, who carried a big blue envelop containg all the evidence against

The black sergeant, who knew that Mr. Boyes could easily sum- mon a host of savages, trembled as they approached every village, and ultimately handed the blue envelop to his prisoner, begging him to take charge of it.

Mr. Boyes was later sent to Mombasa, where he was tried and acquitted, even receiving an apology from the judge for the waste of his valuable time.
