London, July 15. A ne century by A, E, Gilligan was the feature of the match at Worcester. where Sussex were successful by an innings and 21 runs, two days suicing.
Sussex led by 138 on the first innings, and dismissed Worcester for 117, the complete acores being as follows:

Mr. Andrew Crawford, father and grandfather of famous Cricketers, and himself in his day
keen player, died in mall week at the home of his son, the Rev. J. C. Crawford, at Wimbledon, at the age of 101 years.

Parks and Langridge hit out with some measure of success, the former compiling 63 and Lang ridge 8. Arthur Gilligan hit his first century of the season in great style, flogging the bowling for 106. Tarbox took five wickets for 105

Though Sussex were in a sound position, the collapse of the Wor- cester team came as a surprise. They were all out for 117, Parky taking four wickets for 24.-
