The representative again cota- mented on the fact that some sweepstakes were run, and asked why one which was run by men í integrity should be banned, Re- ferring to the absent representa Lives, he suggested that they did not like notoriety.

He suggested that another meet ing should be called, and that the Presidents of the two charitles concerned should be invited. This was put as a resolution, and "seconded. There were no, dissentients; and the meoting then closed.

It is understood that the ticke in the sweepstake were two dollare cach, and that, the first prize was $40,000, second $15,000 and the third $7,000. In addition starters were to receive $1,000 each.

Mr. Haytor asked if anyone else had anything to say, but there was no response from the others present, and the meeting apparent ly closed.
