London, June 20. There was an unusually small attendance at Wimbledon to-day, the centre court being half empty. when play opened.

LADIES SINGLES. Some Interesting matches" took place in the Ladies Singles Cham pionship, the fourth round results being: Mrs. Mallory beat Miss Bouman (Holland) 3/6, 7/5, 6/3 Mrs. Godfree beat Miss Tyreil 6/2, 6/0; and Malle. Vlaste bent Mulle. Contostavlos 6/3, 6/3.

Thus the Ladies semi-finals will be Senorita de Dalvarez ver- sus Mra. Mallory; and Malle. Ylasto versus Mrs. Godfree.

Buss, Ryan and Miss Browne (America) entered the semi-final of the Ladies Doubles, by beating Mrs. Lambert Chambers and Miss Harvey 3/6, 6/2, 7/6.

MIXED DOUBLES..

In the second round of the Mix- ed Doubles, Vincent Richarda and Mias Ryan bent Meyer and Mrs. Shepherd Barron, 6/4, 6/3; and in the third round of the same com- petition, oward Kinsey and Misy Browne (America) beat Eames and Mrs. Beamish 8/6, 7/5.
