THE GREAT BAGHDAD FLOODS.-One of the first pictures to be received of the great floods at Baghdad, which throatened to overwhelm the city after the Tigris had broken its banks. Many lives were lost and the material damage was estimated at £1,000,000. Our photograph shows an attempt being made to fill the breach in the banks of the Tigris by pulling down houses.
