LIFEBOAT HEROINES IN LONDON.

Awards for gallantry were made by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in London recently to the 35 women who dragged the Boulmer (Northumberland) lifeboat for a mile and a quarter in a blizzard last December. On their behalf, Miss N. Stephenson and Mrs. E. Stanton received the awards. They are seen in the picture with Coxswain Robert Cross, of the Humber lifeboat, and Coxswain W. G. Fleming, of Gorleston.
