MOTOR HORN NUISANCE. A.case was brought forward in which a Chinese was charged with causing a nuisance in Chater Road" by continuously sounding his horn, and with dangerous driving..

Mr. J. H. Bolster, of Asiatiq Building, said the defendant sound. ed the horn continuously as he was proceeding along Chater Road until he reached Ice House Street. The car was going at about twenty-five

miles an hour.

Defendant, who admitted the first charge, denied the second, He said it was utterly impossible for him to have travelled at that speed, as the place was crowded with pedestrians, rickshas and other vehicles.

He was fined $10 on the first charge and $20 on the second.
