LANDMARK DESTROYED.-One of New York's most famous landmarks went up in smoke. The house, Tryon Hall," was built by C. K. G. Billings a quarter of a century ago at a cost of $2,000,000. It was owned by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Art objects owned by the occupant; Dr. Nicholas C. Partos, and valued at $1,000,000 wore destroyed.
