MEMORIAL SERVICES AT PEKING FOR DR. SUN YAT-SEN.-Thousands of Peking citizens attended the memorial services held on the first anniversary of the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. A rostrum was erooted at the entrance of the palaces of the Forbi idén City, and here laudatory addresses were delivered for three days in honour of China's first Pres dent.
PRISONERS OF WAR IN PÉKING.-Several hundred Shantung prisoners of war captured by the Kuominchun forces, are here seen quartered in the grounds surrounding tho Tomple of Heaven at Poking.
SETTING OUT TO ATTEND MEMORIAL SERVICE. FOR DR. SUN.-Among those who participated in the memorial services held in Peking for Dr. Sun Yat-sen were his brother-in-law, Mr. EH Kung; Dr. C. T. Wang, recently Foreign Minister; and Mr. Sam Foung, attached to the Foreign Office.
