There was a dispute about the League, as two teams tied for first place and it was agreed they should play the best of three matches for the honour. These matches were not played for various reasons, and the committee of the Chinese Football Association decreed that a deciding match should be played. The Union were the only team to put in an appearance on" the field for this match, and wore awarded the championship of the League on their opponents' forfeit.
