Detectives Consideration. An impressive description, of the attack made on the "Pollee by a mob of coolles in Canton Road, on Sunday, January 31, was given by Sub-Inspector Andrew, in his evidence at the Kowloon Magis tracy yesterday, when two ricksha coolies were charged on two counts arising out of the incident.

The charges against them were that they did unlawfully assault, resist and wilfully obstruct the police in the execution of their duty and did unlawfully effect the release of prisoners.

Pleas of not guilty were entered for both defendunta.
