SERVICES SHIELD.
A spirited game took place on the United Services Recreation Ground, Kowloon, last evening, when a team from the Submarines miet H.M.S. Hawkins, In the final game for the silver United Services League shield, and resulted in a substantial win for the latter by six goats to one. The Submarines earned their right to contest' the final by defeat- ing the Royal Artillery in the first round proper, and the Surrey's, who held the trophy last season, suc- cumbed to the Hawkins. The cruisers were also down to take
the part in
competition but scratched.
