The other day, the foundation stone of the now Chinese Custoros, House was laid at Shanghai, the ceremony being jointly performed by Mr. Chu Yu-chi, Superintendant of Customs, and Mr. F. W. Maze, Commissioner of Customs, Shanghai. Our picture shows Mr. and Mrs. Chi Yu-chi and Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Maze and their little daughter.'
