This shows the Norwegian steamer Elven, sinking in heavy seas in mid-ocoun. All her crew were saved by the mamerican/merchantman "American Trader.”

Fire destroyed the aeroplane of Lieut. Krochl after it smashed to earth during the International Airmen's Meat at Munich. Kroohl was burned to death before workora were able to put out the blaze.
