New Camp for Shanghal Scouts.
The most realistic of all war memorials was unveiled at Hyde Park Corner by the Duke of Connaught to the British Royal Regiment of Artillery. It consists of a stone reproduction of a howitzer stand- ing on a base which is carved with realistic representations of war scenes in relief. Our photograph shows the Chaplain-General, the Rev. A.C.E. Jarvis, dedicating the memorial after it had been unveil- cd. 1" Times" copyright photograph).

This shows the ceremony of opening the new camp at Hungjão Road for the Shanghai Boy Scouts, called Millington Camp in honour of the Commissioner of the Shanghai Branch of the Boy Scouts Association. The camp was formally opened on the afternoon of Armistice Day, by Mr. Stirling Fessendon, Chairman of the Municipal Council, in the presence of the desembled Scouts and Guides and a large gathering of spectators. After the dedication of the Troops' new colours (Dean Symons conducted the 'coramony of dedication and the Rev. Dr. J. Darroch read the lesson) the fifth annual jamboree took place and was enjoyed as much by the grown-ups as by the youngstors.
