For complete teeth deanliness, use also SOZODONT PASTE or POWDER. This delightful dentifrice will brighten the teeth without the slightest danger of destroying the enamel or inju ing the sensitive gums.
Supplement the SOZODONT Treat- ment with a daily gum massage, inside and outside. Dentists throughout the world have recommended the SOZODONT Combined Treatment for more than one hundred years. Persisted in, it will prevent the ravages of prophen and detay.

stored to health and strength by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, Mr. Crittenden is enjoying life to the full at his home, No. 8, Bordyke, Tonbridge, England. His personal narrative is as follows:
"I joined the Army in 1914 and was drafted to Africa. After a time I was attacked by dyspepsia. į My appetite went and I suffered fearfully from palpitation, so that I was not much use for marching. I spent several weeks in Hospital, and getting no better was oven- |tually invalided out of the Service. "The year 1919, however, found me again in H. M. Forces, this time in the Nayy. "POPPY DAY."
SOME FURTHER CELEBRATIONS.
The lighter eido of the Armistico Day celebrations provided good fun for the revellers and more funds, for Earl Haig's Poppy. Drive. At the V.R.C., where a fancy dress3 n. carnival was held, the night passed
quickly into early morning, the dancing being assisted" by plenti-... ful distribution; at a price, of con- fetti, streamers and last but not lenst squeakers.
The building was attractively decorated, poppy colour predomi- nuling, and the Lyric Orchestra provided the music. The fancy dresses were exceedingly clever; many of them, others adding to the fun.
Many were the schemes for rais- ing money for Earl Halg's Appeal, rattles for valuable prizes, payment for the pleasure of dancing a cer tain dance, a cross-word puzzle competition, etc., all of which were wonderfully supported.
The diamond pin rafted was won by Mr. A. G. Pile, ticket No. 684, and the pearl brooch fell to someore from the Hermes with ticket No. 311
At the Kowloon Cricket Club, raffles and an auction, together with a sweep on the match, brought, in over $1,000.
ARMISTICE CARNIVAL
The Hongkong Hotel, carnival dance was a very jolly affair, a large throng, many in, fancy costume, making merry until after midnight, The guests were provided with favours of all sorts and descriptions, and with the Allled flags used in decoration, the whole place was a Fuea of colour.
In addition to the usual dancer, the merrymakers endeavoured to n.look like centipedes by joining to- gether in long queues and galloping round the room. HEH. Prince George was well in the thick of it joining keenly in all that was going.
Though of course it is impossible at present to give figures of poppy sale with any exactitude, it is almost certain that last year's total I will be exceeded. Indeed the success of the drive aurprised even the organisers. It is estimated that over $4,000 was taken in Hongkong and over $2,000 f Kowloon, to which sums have to be added $1,250- donated and the various church collections last Sunday!
The ladies responsible for the good work on the Kowloon side were:
