Nearly 1.200 persons were made homeless by a fireat Shreveport, I., which destroyed 200 dwellings and caused a property loss estimated from $750,000 to £1,000,000. The " flames burned away a strip of the residential section 2,000 feet long and 1,000, feet wide. Six persons were injured fighting the fire. Here is one part of the devastated section.
