TEAMS FOR THE "P" LEAGUE: At a meeting of the Hongkong Football League held yesterday there were thirteen entries for the B section of the second Division, but three of these were refused. The remaining ten clubs which entered the league were: The Drum's reserves of the East Surrey Regiment, Kowloon Football Club, St. Joseph's College A and B, Club de Recreio, Moslems A and B University, and South China A and

During the past year much discussion had taken place as to who should take the responsibility for the inter- pretation of the figures and it had been decided that the P. C. M. 0., should, adviser to the Government.
The P. C. M. O. sent to the Board every month a statement on the water supply generally and the figures of the bacteriologist, and he thought that when water was found, unsatisfactory steps would be taken immediately to bring it up to proper standard.
Dr.. Macgown said what he want- ed to know was whether this, un satisfactory water was being allow ed to pass through taps.
The Chairman: I think steps are taken immediately.".

Another letter received from him in September says with regard to Chinese affairs:
