THE MOROCCAN WAR.
Paris, September B. Le Journal's Madrid correspondent says that the attempted land- Ing of Spanish troops on the Albuceamas coast failed.. The attempt will be repeated to-day.
The Riff coast is being bombarded by land, son and air," Tangler despatches mention aerlous Riff counter operations on the western front directed by Abd el Krim's brother, the enemy vainly endeavouring to capture Bonkarrish, just south of Tetuan, while ont the eastern front the enemy is strongly counter attacking on the Afrau front cast of Ajdir and Albucemng.
A telegram from Fez refers to a rumour that the Spaniards sac- ceeded in reliving enemy pressure on Tetuan. A Spanish official communique makes no reference to any attempted landing at Alhucemas but dwells, on the persistent enemy' pressure, especially on the western front and declares that the enemy failed in their object of breaking the Spanish lines with the ultimate aim of diverting the forces destined for the offensive,-Reuter.
