EUROPEAN PEACE.
New York, June 8. The New York World, in a leader on the allied note to Germany says that probably the Alkes', demands are within their treaty rights; "If they have force and will compel Germany not only to accept their terms, but to keep them during the next few decades, they are free to go ahead, but they must not expect disinterested neutrals like the United States to watch their proceedings," with any particular rospect for the policy and spirit Inspiring them. This is not the policy of peace and can only result in increasing dangers in Europe."
