FROM EMPRESS" LINER. For stealing two bed sheets from on board the Empresa of Russia, & Chiness, employed on the ship as a boy, was sentenced to three months' hard labour by Mr. E. W. Hamilton, at the Kow- loon Magistracy this morning,
The defendant, who was arrest- ed in the act of leaving the vessel with the sheets, said he wantod to use them himself.
