This is Miss Innes Evelyn high Bramley, champion jumper in the fair sex divisjon. Innos, a 17-year-old Toronto high school girl, recently established a new world record for the event by leaping four foot 11 inches, boating the old mark by half an inch.
Special arrangements were made at the Majestio Hotel, Shanghai; to celebrate St. George's night, and many additional dishes were included in the menu, Blackpool Tower, cushions and also all sorts of clever designs of sugar were provided, together with a cold collation and dainty diehos. Thle picture shows the sugar ornaments and some of the staff who made them."
Robert Muffler's father came from Germany in 1900. His mother came from Hungary in '1907. Now Robert is known as Philadelphia's most "typical American boy" to graduato from grammar school. A medal denoting the honour was pre- sented him by the American Loglon. It was awarded on qualifications of honour, courage scholarship, leadership and service.

ENGLAND V. SCOTLAND IN GOLF:
The pretty wedding of Miss Ann Joyce Stophan, daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Stephan. to Mr. Percy Walter Caxall, of the Chinose Maritime Customs, Shanghai, took place at the Cathedral there on April 25. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the residence of Mra. M. L. Mear, Macgregor Road, where a large number of friends assembled. In the group. above, reading from left to right, are Mr. E. A. Spiegler (usher), Mr. W. Montgomery (bost men), Miss M. Kabelitz (flower girl), the bride and bridegroom, Mr. R. G. Ellis (who gave the bride away), Miss L N. Stephan (bridesmaid and sister of the bride), and Mr. Bown (usher).
One of the greatest golf battles over waged in Shanghai was fought out recently at Kiang- wan, when Mr. A. Brooke-Smith, representing England (President, St. George's Society) played Mr. Brodie A. Clarks (Prosident, St. Andrew's Bociety), Mr. Brooke-Smith won the match, but he had no easy time of it. Mr. Brooke-Smith and Mr. Clarke are shown seated by the beautiful cup for which the two Societies compete twice each year. The Englishmen won the match this spring.
