Recalling Hongkong's last big typhoon is this view of a private dwelling at Murphysboro, Illinois, after the tornado of March 18th bad passed. The persons killed in this town alone numbered over 500. Altogether about 1,200 lost their lives in the tornado.

Here is a scene of the wreckage in Annapolis, Mo., aftor the March 18th, tornado.

This shows part of the Murphysboro mortuary, whore dead bodies wore being brought throughout the night and following days.
