London April 17. The R33 was in touch with the Aly Ministry all night. It is reported that at six-thirty this morning, she was fifty miles west by south of Amsterdam-Reuter.

When the R93 broke adrift from Pulham she carried off 'four' mooring wheels, each half u, too, suspended two forward and two aft, at the end of cables a hundred feet long. Just off Lowestoft a:- member of the crew elambered along the catwalk, made a hole in the canvas and hanging on by his legs, held by another man, he worked with a steel-cutting chisel and hammer until the cables ware cut. The wheels dropped like bombs into the sea. The breakaway from the mooring mast, under the stress of the wind, was due to a rotten. piece of metal giving way at a concealed spot. The night emergency crew of twenty had just changed with the day crew, but the ship started off before two of the new crew were aboard. Three engines were started up within two minutes, getting motion-Reuter.

TERRIBLE TRAGEDY "AT SOFIA.
Sofia, April 16. Many persons were killed or injured by the explosion of a bomb in Svetanedelia Cathedral during the funeral service of M. Gheorghieff.
All the Ministers present were uninjured.-Reuter.
Sofia, April 17.
It is believed that 30 were killed and 200 injured, mostly slightly; as the result of the bomb explosion in the Cathedral. The dead include Generale Davidoff and Nerzaff, and ex-Minister. Kolonchef-Router.

140 were killed by the explosion in the Cathedral, of whom 20 were women, 10. children, six generals and 80 officers. Martial law has been proclaimed throughout the country-Reuter.

Several arrests have been made in connection with the plosion, by the police. An inquiry showed it was due to an infernal- clockwork machine concealed in a part of the Cathedral facing the South. Ministers and officials mostly escaped because they had gathered round the coffin in the Chancel. The Premier and Min- isters of War and Interior were slightly wounded. The Mayor of Sofia, and the ex-War Minister General Naidenoff were killed. The King was given an ovation by the crowds in the streets when he visited the scene of the explosion.--Reuter.
While there have been no further serious outbreaks, the Director. of the Central Prison was assassinated in the street to-day.
The explosion occurred at three o'clock in the afternoon." Three- members of the Cabinet were slightly injured by falling plaster. The dead include the Prefect of Police and several Deputies. The city is in ferment and the whole country most excited." The military authorities have ordered curfew from 7.30 in the evening. All classes are most indignant at the outrage, which follows a series of political assassinations culminating in the attack on M. Boris.
Citizen volunteers are being enrolled, and one forming patrols to maintain law and order under the direction of Generals Roussef and Vulkoff, the Ministers of Interior and War. The military held up and searched all passengers on trains from the city yesterday, Travel has been drastically regulated-Reuter.
