THE FAMOUS QUEBEC BRIDGE:-The Quebec bridge is one of the engineering marvels of the world. It spans the St. Lawrance River seven miles above the city of Québec and, provides entrance for the Canadian National Railways to Quebec from the south shore of the river. The bridge is 3,239 feet long and the middle span alone is 1,800 fost long or 100 feet longer than the Forth Bridge in Scotland. It is so coo- etructed that even at highest tide there is a clearance of more than 15 fest for the highest masted ship afloat.

CAPITAL OF CANADA.-This is a view of the heart of 'Oitava, the federal capital of Canada. Oo the extreme right is seen the station of the Canadian National Railways and across the bridge from 11, the Chateau Laurier, the lion hotel owned and operated by the Canadian National Railways. The Chateau is connected to the station by a tunnel so that visiters are not required to brave inclement weather fa going from the station to the hotel.
