The Indore correspondent of The Times of India learns that Sirdar Anandro Phanse, Adjutant-general of the Indore State Forces has been arrested, allegedly in connection with the Malabor Hill murder.
The Malabar Hill murder caused a sensation in Bombay. On February 2, a wealthy citizen of Bombay, accompanied by several others, including a tiled Indian woman, was motoring in the native quarter of Malabar H when the party was shot at from ambush. The citizen and another were killed, while the woman and another member of the party were wounded. Several Indian colobrities have been arrested in connection with the outrage.]
