DISASTROUS FIRE.-Toltering walls shown here are all that remain of the saltpoter factory of Battelle & Renwick, Jersey City, in which started one of the year's biggest fires. Tho flames spread over four blocks, driving 500 familles from home and overcoming more than a score of firemen. Men, women and children were reported missing.
