There has been practically no rain einge the beginning of Oot- ober, and the sun is still very tho bright and hot, though temperature has been reduced a good deal by the strong north wind lately.

The Limehow-Pakboi District Church Council of the Chung Hwa Shong Kung Hui bad their annal meetings a few days ago in Limehow, in the hall adjoin- ing St. Barnabas'a Churob, and had a vory useful time. The Rev. E. T. Loader has now come to live at Limchow to take charge of the C. M. S. work in this district.
